Chains & slide rails
The chain is the part of the conveyor that touches your product. It is the first thing we specify, not the last.
Chain options
Our conveyor equipment is equipped with wear-resistant, smooth Teflon-infused Acetyl plastic top chains.
Options such as carriers, friction, brush, gripping, high temperature, anti-static, and other chain styles are available to fit your process. We offer a broad range of chain types which enable us to provide the right solution for practically any conveying purpose.
The conveyor chains are guided on slide rails made of high-molecular polyethylene, guaranteeing low-wear, low-maintenance and low-failure transportation.
Chain styles
Pick the chain to the product, not the other way round.
| Chain style | Chosen when |
|---|---|
| Standard Acetyl | General packaged goods and containers |
| Friction | Non-accumulating spirals and inclines; minimizes the tiers required |
| Gripping | Side and top grip conveyors; unstable or delicate packages |
| High temperature | Product leaves an oven, dryer or hot process |
| Anti-static | Electronics and PCB handling where ESD is a risk |
| Brush | Gentle support of irregular or fragile shapes |
| Carrier | Pucks, trays, fixtures and optical tray handling |
Special chains for small products are available, and are frequently used in pharmaceutical, beauty and optical applications.
Wear parts
The parts that wear are the parts we stock.
Slide rail, cover board, guide rails, drive and idler parts are all held in Kentucky. When a wear part needs replacing, the line is down — so we hold the inventory that keeps that window short.
Let's design the line around your product.
Send us your product size, throughput target and floor plan. Our engineers will come back with a layout, a footprint and a number.
